So far this year there have been 841 single family homes which were built on site, sold through the Branson MLS as of the middle of December. The lowest reported price was $5,500 and the highest priced sale reported was $842,000. Keep in mind that Missouri is a non-disclosure State so what is reported may not represent the actual reality but is a very good representation of it. The last I heard, there were about 400 Realtors and agents in the MLS and that gives you an average of 2 homes sold this year per person. No was self-employed people can make a living on that kind of activity, thank goodness for condos & mobile home sales to help supplement the lack of home sales for the last couple years.
With the new year approaching soon, one can assume that 2011 will be one of the best times ever to get a home in this area. Low mortgage rates, sellers are beatin down on prices and agents are anxious to help you find the bargain of a lifetime. I have seen a few recently sell at prices much lower than appraisal!
